What to Expect at Our Jacksonville, NC Location!
We are excited to offer the best drop-in childcare center in Jacksonville! We are OPEN! We have built a childcare center to fit the needs of children from ages 12 months to 12 years that is both safe, fun and modern. Some highlights include:
- A toddler activity area with tons of things for the little ones to do
- An arts and craft area to allow creative expression
- A dress up area where kids can pretend to be whatever they wish
- A cozy reading area with books for all ages
- An amazing custom built tree house
- A “Big Kid Room” for kids 5 and up complete with air hockey, 2 Nintendo Wii’s, Legos and more
- Dance & Music time complete with high definition audio and disco lights
- A kid-sized basketball area (we only use soft balls for safety)
- A dedicated classroom for our After school program.
Location:
Giggles is conveniently located in the Cross Point Shopping Center right behind Cracker Barrel. We are only moments away from the best shopping, dining and movies in Jacksonville!
Staff:
All our staff is CPR/First Aid Certified and they have passed Criminal Background checks.
Important Information!
We accept children ages 12 months to 12 years.
We ask that you bring diapers (if needed), a change of clothes and a cup with a lid. If there are any comfort toys like a blanket, stuffed animal or pacifier, please bring them as well.
If you would like your child to have a meal while at Giggles, you may either:
- Bring your own (no peanut or cinnamon products please!)
- Order one from us. Please realize that we do not prepare meals on site and must have your meal order 45 minutes prior to meal time; 11:15 for lunch and 5:15 for dinner. Just call ahead and let us know what to order!
Reservations are not required but are recommended.

Giggles Drop-In Childcare has been an absolute lifesaver for our family! The staff is caring, attentive, and genuinely loves working with children. I had to use Giggles as a last resort over a year ago, and I have never been disappointed. If anything happens, they are very quick to call and update you. Jenny and Maddie have to be our two favorites there, as those are the two I've mainly worked with. Their energy is 100%, and even if its a short staff kind of day, it doesn't change. Giggles is a safe place to leave your child for a little bit.

I was incredibly nervous about leaving my daughter with anyone, but Giggles has been the greatest experience for both of us. From day one, Miss Dakota and Miss Bailey made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. They are truly the absolute best!
My daughter loves going to school each day, and I am amazed by how much she has learned and grown since attending. The staff creates such a positive, nurturing, and educational environment, and it shows in everything they do.
I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to learn, this is it. We absolutely love The play school program and are so grateful for the wonderful care they provide!

I absolutely love the kiddos that come to play at Giggles!! I do the arts and crafts daily!! Also I think I love having Theme Nights once a month where we do everything from making volcanos explode to making our own piñatas which are filled with allergy free candies. I love getting to dress up with the kids and play games and have a snack then chill out watching some great movies with all the kids!! We at Giggles grow a very strong bond with the kids that come here, more than once its so neat to have e a parent say they were so exciting to come see us and sometimes the kiddos dont wanna leave and parent have to carry them out because they made friends with othe kids and the staff! I truly believe over half the kids we watch would love to stay alot longer than the 4 hours we are allowed to have them in our center!!! The Giggles kiddos are AWESOME!

I have been bringing my son here since we moved to the area (about 2 years ago). Every time my son comes, he is excited and leaves with a big smile. I feel secure every time I drop off my child for drop-in care. The teachers are kind and responsive to all my questions. They’re so interactive with the kids and lead lots of activities for them to enjoy. They offer free snacks and if you ever need meals, your child can enjoy that at an extra cost. They have movie nights Fridays and Saturdays too! Overall, I like bringing my son here and he seems to enjoy it too.

Our go-to place! We do not leave our daughter places, but we tried Giggles in 2024 and instantly loved it! The staff were always amazing and were always so happy to see her. Highly recommended for a great, safe and fun place to bring kids. We will miss it (we just moved away)!
We also planned a birthday party for our daughter in Giggles and the staff were extremely accommodating. They made it so much fun for my daughter and all her friends.

As a first time mom I was TERRIFIED to leave my daughter with anyone, but we tried Giggles and my daughter fell in love with everyone there. She loves movie nights and of course the arts and crafts. This has been such a life changer for me. I highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Giggles. We are so thankful for all of the teachers. We have had a great experience. Our toddlers absolutely love coming, and it is clear that the teachers love what they do and care so much about all of the children. Giggles has been our life saver while we were placed on waitlists for full-time care.

Just moved to this state and I am on the waiting list for Excel preschools and I learned about Giggles from a family member.This is great while I wait for a spot and then it will be great to keep because they are open in the evenings also. Staff is top notch and very kind. Grateful for Giggles

We love Giggles!!! My child asks to go here by name and they always remember us even though we rarely come.
None of the negative reviewers on here take into account the fact that this is a public drop in daycare and no facility can prevent kids from catching illnesses whether from school, babysitters or their own family. Giggles takes so much time to thoroughly clean and checks every child for their temperature upon arrival. We have been going here for over a year and have never gotten sick from them. I highly highly suggest this business. thank you for creating a safe place to bring my child when we need it.

My family is so grateful for Giggles! My girls have been going for years. The staff here are always so loving and attentive to the kids. They are also professional and you can tell the center is well-taken care of. The owner puts her heart in this business and these children. All of the staff truly care about each of them and it shows. It’s hard to leave my kiddos to be cared for by others, but the staff at Giggles make it a little easier knowing they’re in great hands. Definitely recommend this wonderful establishment.
